I've only had a McDonalds for breakfast as I said, once, and don't plan on getting it again.

Vegemite on toast is good. Excellent if you're running late and need to get out the door.

I've got an additional reason to celebrate: my HSC exams are finally over!!! Yay!!! In Australia, we seem to have varied breakfasts. Bacon and eggs on toast is pretty good, but only in moderation. Vegemite on toast. Pancakes of course. Or a McDonald's breakfast, which I don't see the point of and I'...

General Discussion spam

I'd say it is very unlikely that the 5 most recent articles in the General Discussion forum posted by virtualoffice are about "Rocks'n'Diamonds, Boulder Dash, Supaplex, Emerald Mine and any other BD hybrid."

Can someone please delete it?

Loading DC2 Levels

RnD version 3.2.4 states: - added file loader for native Diamond Caves II levels and level packages This implies to me I can get a DC2 level/levelgroup and put them somewhere. Then RnD can open the level/levelgroup and play them, edit them, convert them, whatever. How do you do this? Or have I inter...

I noticed this too, but I always assumed it was due to the intial player speed being set to as if you have picked up a speed pill.
I checked just then; the player speed is set to Fast.

I'm pretty sure whether or not you can view them is based on the installed languages on your computer (at least, if you have Windows). I used to not be able to see any Asian characters on my computer - they came as out as boxes. After a full install of Office 2003 though, I now can. So I see Japanes...

Interesting point... Maybe I should name the "normal" quicksand "slow quicksand" and re-sort the elements accordingly. (But maybe it would be better to sort elements in the editor by function instead of emulated game anyway...) I think I suggested this before. I wouldn't worry t...

I tried this, and yep, Alan's right. It appears when the growing steel tries to grow into a steel wall, the steel turns into a normal wall.

While on the issue of quicksand, the new "fast" quicksand in 3.2.4 is located in the DC2 section. However, in the actual DC2 game, it's called "slow quicksand" and boulders actually fall through it slower.
Just a point I thought I'd mention.

> Wouldn't the installer erase the levels directory in RnD program dir? I would be very surprised if it would do that -- I'm sure it just doesn't touch any existing files that are not part of the installation archive. (Haven't tested this, though.) [/code] I've used the installer twice to install R...

If you sent an e-mail Zomis, like you said it didn't come through. RTADash - I did get your e-mail. Unfortunately, Hotmail refuses to let me download it - "The file NES_BD.zip could not be scanned for viruses because it contains too many embedded zip files." Maybe that's why it keeps getti...
