How dows it lock? Does it consume all CPU-time or none? Does the screen get repainted if you move another window over it or not?

Did you compile the X11 or SDL version?

In the meantime I'm gonna downgrade my Sun and try to reproduce it ;)

Select the yam-yam in the editor. Then click on the "?" in the toolbar to open the configuration-dialog of the yam-yam. on the second page there are the contents.

You can pin the page so that it stays if you select other elements.
