Re: Supaplex engine bugs

There *might* be a bug in level 69 - when you kill Electrons with orange disk, it turns to *nine* infotrons, while in the original it would only produce four (when smashed from up) or 6 (when the explosion reaches it diagonally). Could someone verify that in the original game?

Re: Supaplex engine bugs

Thanks for the details! I've just started to play through all Supaplex levels from scratch, so I'll let you know if everything works. ;-)

Re: Supaplex engine bugs

Wow, I've just noticed the forum is back up and there is a new release of R'n'D, great! Could you tell me what exactly are "fixed two game engine bugs in Supaplex game engine" related to?

LEVELDIR 'sp_supaplex_original', SOLVED 111/111 (100%) Umm, but the original Supalex leveldir in the vanilla RnD 3.3.0.1 is classic_supaplex, right where the old engine Supaplex used to be, right? That's more or less the mess I was talking about in the other thread. :P To be honest, I was just as s...

I think there should be 2-3 auto-syncing sites hosting the level archive, and I don't see why yours, after a bit tweaking, couldn't be one of them. It would be best if artsoft.org hosted the main mirror, just for the sake of integrity, but the interface for uploading levels, that would next be peer-...

Level(set) manager/loader

Hello! I just thought, if there's ever enough time, it would be nice if RnD got equipped with level (levelset) manager and (down)loader along with a central site to which they could be uploaded. When I installed the new RnD today, I backuped and removed my old levels dir as I decided it was too much...

Hello! I just got the news that RnD with original Supaplex engine is out (something I have been waiting for for *some* time), and I rush to report that classic level 93 is finally solvable! Previously it was impossible to run between two rows of falling bombs, now it works just fine, thus making the...

If you're going to do that, I'd suggest only focusing on F2 (load). What if I save (F1) and then complete the level in one run anyway? You might as well punish for pausing then. ;-)

In any case, a w...

Worldwide, on-line hi-score and times listings?

I'm not following this forum with attention recently, so forgive me if this has already been proposed (or maybe implemented?), but here goes: I think that on-line hall of fame (would be best if it was connected to the game, so uploading and downloading hi-scores would be automatic) would be a refres...

Rocks'n'Diamonds in top ten Linux games!

Happypenguin.org finally fixed their ' sort by rating ' feature, and now we can clearly see that Rocks'n'Diamonds is 8th (ex aequo with BZFlag) highest-rated Linux game ever (out of 1976 projects listed on HP). It is closely followed by Fish Fillets – a great logical game, which I take the opportuni...
