Re: Rocks'n'diamonds - Show keys 2014

I saw your other post asking for this, and I knew something like that was already created by Eizzouxx, but couldn't find it either! Good to know that you found it! Regarding PCX -> PNG, ask Uncle Google. There are a lot of free converters out there. :-) Did it! I'm kinda sad that the level indicato...

Re: Rocks'n'diamonds - Show keys 2014

YESSSSSSSS I can not thank you enough for making this!!!!! I was searching for this for nearly a week, for my two-player levelset, "Better Together", since that levelset uses a LOT of keys. I finally found it!!!!! But... ... is there any chance that you could make the .pcx file with the gr...

Re: R'n'D hub with 8 keys, anyone?

Note, the hub has to look like the original one, only difference begin the key counter showing 8 instead of 4 keys.

R'n'D hub with 8 keys, anyone?

The normal R'n'D hub looks like this: RocksDoor.png There are only 4 keys, though. Does anyone know of a hub made that displays 8 keys, without disrupting anything else in the hub? I find it really annoying that I can't see if I have all 8 keys as I play, especially in my two-player levelset, "...

Stating new project, accepting help: Supaplex 2!

2021 (next year) marks the year of Supaplex's 30th Anniversary! Supaplex is a game that has a huge legacy, having many many fans who shown their love towards the game in the Supaplex level collection. Without Supaplex, we might not have had Rocks'n'Diamonds as the great game we know it today. That's...

Supaplex for ZX Spectrum

How many of you knew that Supaplex was made for the ZX Spectrum? Click the link in this post to play the game. It's honestly nothing special in terms of graphics and controls (literally no other control other than "Cursor" works) but it has two music tracks, one completely unique. I just t...

Re: Trial of the Emerald: The ultimate skill test

However, when pressing the "snap" key (but not releasing it yet), nothing happens, so you can continue pressing an additional direction key (to really execute a "snap" action), which also lets the engine advance by one frame now. But you can also just release the snap key again ...

Respawn Anchor defies all laws of time

Remember the Respawn Anchor that I made? If you use it in a timed level, when the time reaches 0, you will die, but then respawn in a sort of limbo where the time is stuck at zero but you can still move around. I fixed the anchor to give you 10 seconds when respawning before I even released the conc...

Buggy Base Snap Animation

When you type in:
sp_buggy_base.diggable_like: sp_base
the buggy base will be digged by the player like a normal base.
But how do you have the buggy base be snapped like a normal base, with the squares imploding?

Re: [Zipped] DOS Supaplex Graphics

Maybe it's better to package it as a separate graphics pack, so you don't need to replace original files. Simple action, just few seconds to do, here it is as separate graphics pack: gfx_dos_supaplex.zip Installation: Unzip the .zip archive and drag the folder "gfx_dos_supaplex" into &quo...

DOS Supaplex Graphics

So a while back, my boy Eizzoux made a post called "R'n'D nostalgia graphics", which made all the graphics from version 1.3.0 available. Go check out the topic here: https://www.artsoft.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2753&p=15865 Anyways, one thing that ABSOLUTELY PISSED ME OFF was ...

Re: Red disks: Three different variants of mine

Sorry for being a little bit too late, I was kind of busy last couple of days. So anyways, here are three different variants I came up with: spdisk1.png 1) Moves the time just a little bit to the left and adds the inventory counter on the right of it, but with a narrow counter just because the spac...

Alan Bond, if you're out there and still active in the Rocks'n'Diamonds community, please make another cool levelset.
Also, maybe reply to this post.

Trial of the Emerald: Trying to fix the things

After feedback from jm28121977, filbo, and Anonycat, I brought myself to observe the level I have created once again to see what I could change about it to be a bit better. Here is the "changelog" for this attempt at fixing some of the issues in the original level: - Changed the section wi...
