Re: Windows 7 compatible?

Is Window 7 just an expansion of Windows Vista? Technically, Windows 7 uses the same kernel as Windows Vista (so Windows 7 can use Vista's drivers, for example). Beyond that, there's a UI change, extra stuff, etc. But I'm sure you know all that having used it yourself. I had no issues playing RnD 3...

It's good to see it back online again!

I had to do an assignment for a web design course, to create a sort of chat utility using a database - it gives you an appreciation for how much effort is required for these things.

That's because Emerald Mine has no steel exit natively. Any element not present in the original Emerald Mine games will be displayed with a ? if using the Emerald Mine engine.

You're right! After checking the error you reported with butterflies producing no content in Ben Braithwaite - Ben 200 Level #41, I went into the level editor and rigged up an EM magic wall with EM rocks on the side. It does indeed flash up with the magic wall graphic as you push the rock over an ac...

This is an interesting problem. On version 3.2.4, it did correctly produce diamonds, providing the following did not happen: `001`001`001`001`000`000`000 `001`001`001`001`000`001`000 `000`000`000`000`000`008`004 `000`001`001`001`000`001`071 `000`001`001`001`000`148`000 `000`001`001`001`001`001`000 `...

What type of magic wall - BD, EM or DC2? What type of rock - BD or EM? A diagram would also be helpful :).

I'll try taking a look at this later.

Remember that one 'butterfly' is actually called a "firefly" and produces no content when smashed. If I remember correctly, it's purple & red?

Also, check that it wasn't a CE.

I've had RnD 3.2.4 on Vista with an nVidia graphics card for a year and not had this problem. (Although I haven't played it for a while cause of uni work.)
Perhaps the sound card or audio settings is at fault instead?

A feature like this would have been very useful when I was playing with CEs a while ago!

 using 3.2.6.0 crashing very frequently half way through most games....going back to my desktop. I have xp home. Yes, 3.2.6.0 seems to have some issues. For the meantime, try using 3.2.4. This is a link to it that Zomis put in "Sudden close" in the bug reports forum: http://www.artso...

Agreed, it's good to see you again! As a suggestion, how about putting RnD 3.2.4 back on the downloads page with a note explaining "that 3.2.6.0 has some known issues, and if it doesn't work, please use 3.2.4"? If you need (or would like) someone to test RnD on Windows Vista, I'd be more t...
