But when I put it in a level, it does not "turn", it just changes direction and continues straightaway This could be because your bug's move delay is zero, try setting it to 8 (in config page 2) The change property "set keys" indicates to me e.g. if you collect this CE, it's as ...

Once I understood it better (having a block behind the rotating device to activate), i pretty much knew what to do.
This is described at the start of the level in an envelope......

Hi Jeremy, Sorry I messed up with the tapes in Snakebite (I didn't know at the time), anyway the idea is to get the block from the large X all the way down to the column of five bubbles. In the long corridor below the X room you place the block in front of the two venoms (not the single one), this m...

Or the ability to create your own palette?
Ah, this is possible! If you make a file called a editorsetup.conf in your level folder you can add items like this:-

player_1
empty_space
char_a
custom_144

These favorites are placed at the bottom of the editor palette.

2. An element counter? When clicked, it displays the total number of all emeralds, diamonds, pearls, crystals, BD diamonds, infotrons and nuts. Then it calculates the total value of all them. Example: 3 emeralds = 3 2 diamonds = 6 4 crystals = 32 1 nut = 1 Total = 42 Hi Davacardo, I put the same fe...

I first saw BDCK in ZZap64 mag (Dec 86), then got it for my 15th birthday (the following January).........so wow, it is exactly 20 years old! I still own the original BDCK tape version.......

This reminds me how crappy most computers are built nowadays, compared to those nice, sturdy C64's
Except for the restore key ;-)

MegaPal

This is a huge idea, but I honestly think it will save people hours in editing time. I also believe it will give Holger piece of mind about adding more elements (not CEs, but new stuff like the steel alphabet and the new walls), without worrying about the palette....... Seriously, most of my CE maki...

+-token and values in the palette

Not sure if this is a bug, maybe its something that's been overlooked though. The +# and -# tokens work in the change part of a CE, but not the condition.... IE:- CE2 changes to [-1] if touching [space], works OK. But....CE2 changes to [space] if touching [-1], doesn't work. Shouldn't this event fir...

Cheers!

There are no stupid questions! (especially regarding Snakebite ;-) )

Don't forget if you get stuck and don't want ask on the forum, there's always the tapes (included with Snakebite) and bojster's tapes on his site.

Good luck with the rest of it.

Hi bene, welcome to the forum. I'm glad you like Snakebite! :-) This is the 1st level that forces you to use the venom (an extension of snapping really since it doesn't hurt things)....... just hang back on the right and shoot the boulder onto Jack, then nip under to grab the jewel. There's lots of ...
