Guess I'll stick this here. To keep things together. IMHO There shouldn't be a non-recording mode at all. Also No need for a []STOP button, instead have a button that does the equivalent to a []|> STOP and REPLAY, aka REPLAY FROM START No need for a ()RECORD button, it should always be recording

Pressing "record" during tape replay should do nothing unless you are in pause mode. Yep, has to be in pause mode to start recording from the middle. [ops... mentally skipped this step when typing my previous post(s)] I suppose it could be done in a way that it doesn't have to paused. Lik...

Now I was able to reproduce the problem you described! And yes, this looks a little bit horrible. :o The bug here is that the program allows to quick-save the game although not in recording mode! :shock: This has to be fixed! After doing a playback restore it never pauses, even if it was paused beforehand. When a level is finished, one level is in red, while the rest are in green. Assuming the default one in red is supposed to be the one that was just completed, then the one in red is sometimes the wrong one. Like when this win would be 2nd place locally but it's 3rd if also including the remote wins,...

Idea: In high scrore details separate ranks for local/remote/both

If I click on a high score to view score details and use the arrow keys, it briefly shows a local score, then shows a remote score. Instead of just one RANK. Perhaps there could LOCAL RANK, REMOTE RANK, and LOCAL AND REMOTE RANK MERGED for each of these based on scores local/remote/both.

Game playback should pause when it's finished.

When a game is being played back to it's end, or restored via quick restore, it should start in a paused state*, irregardless of rather game was paused when state was saved, if 'MAIN MENU > SETUP > GAME & MENU > START GAME IN PAUSE MODE' is 'ON'.

*and in ready to record ready state.
