actually there is a solution that doesn't require strict timing:

lrduudrlrduuluuu

or as tape: http://semisane.de/rnd/tapes/puzzles/033.tape

It's the purpose of the gravity-ports to toggle gravity, so I can't see anything unusual here.

Rumors are that it will be bundled with the new iMer...

Explanation for non-german speakers: iMer is pronounced like german Eimer, which means "bucket" 8)

i think it was in the 3.2.0-0 thread when Holger said that he expected the EM-tapes to be loaded much faster. EM is a bit less complex than RnD is. Simply think of Custom Elements.

I think someone had somewhen written a step-by-step description how to do a teleporter, but it must have been in the old forum :-/

The key-point is creating a CE that can change to the player.

Obvious errors like this one can (and should) easily be detected during compilation.

Why not set a breakpoint on 'Error'?

Martijn's tape doesn't work here either. With which version have you recorded it? But the level is solvable, you've got about a minute to collect the 22 emeralds and then run to the exit in the bottom left corner. This tape works (at least for me) in 3.1.0: http://semisane.de/rnd/tapes/classic_emera...

... february is close ...

of course we know, Holger, that you're hard working on the em-engine, but the contributions 2004 would be nice to play anyways

the naming convention sounds a bit familiar to me.
Gentoo uses to compile both SDL and X11 versions and calls them rocksndiamonds.sdl and rocksndiamonds.x11 repectively.

But both work fine on my system.

Are you using Gentoo, or have you compiled it by hand?
Does the X11-version work?

* Level 8 lacks an emerald, or "gems required" is set too high"
* Level 30 lacks the exit
