Re: Tile cursor renders over global animations
I'm sorry but I even after reading your message ten times I don't understand what you mean. Could you explain, somehow?

[RESOLVED] Tile cursor renders over global animations
Intentional or not, but the 'global.tile_cursor' graphic seems to be drawn over even the pointer global anims.

[RF] New element tokens + Active states
Just out of curiosity, what will be tokens for the fixed DF mirrors and slopes? I'm asking just because I'm in progress of expanding canvas and reorganizing game sprites to fit in the new elements. Pretty much getting it ready for the update whenever it comes out. dsfkdnsfndsnfkls.png Also, I might ...

Maybe limit slopes in some cases
But I'm afraid it will still take some more time, as there are far more edge cases than I first expected (especially after testing around with some of your examples where the beam is reflected by a single "steel wall" block edge, which really adds even more weird cases ). Also craz...

Re: CE change page "player collects element" option is kinda weird
Looking back at this, I think this issue could be resolved instead by adding "Player collects" condition which reacts to only collecting, but not snapping, and renaming the old one as "Player collects/snaps". That would keep both options together without any conflicts and also ke...

Dripper revealing problem
Can confirm that the dripper one here is still happening. Because the game does not update dripper to it's active state after activating lightswitch or collecting lenses unlike other invisible elements, the newly created dripper elements are still invisible.

Loop animations vs CE animations
Yeah, revisiting this topic nowadays, I can understand Holger's confusion, my English at that time was amateurish at best. In brief, in CC2 in R'n'D levelset, there was an item called "Super Jewel", which is basically a trophy cup and behaves almost like normal jewels but `can't fall`. The...

Centering of credits screen is quite strange
I think the game reads width of, let's say, "font.text_2" character (which is 10px in my case), counts the amount of spaces to step from the left edge to the middle and defaults that amount for every other font whether it's wide or not, which results bigger fonts shifting to the right side...

Empty space in EM engine... + something else
Since the time we got the ability to apply custom artwork for empty space, there's one engine which was possibly missed out in terms of limiting that - Emerald Mine engine. If we apply a custom artwork for empty space and then try it on Supaplex or Mirror Magic - it actually doesn't work, which is, ...

Cursor tile customizability
For now the 'global.tile_cursor' of MM engine can only be animated or resized to be bigger than the game tile, even though it also only stretches to +x and +y and you can't really move it up and left to correct it's alignment (I tried with draw_xoffset and draw_yoffset, that obviously doesn't work)....

[RF] Mirror sprite upgrade
For a while I felt uncanny from the way DF mirrors were done for MM. For pretty much all of the angles other than the vertical and horizontal ones the sprites were rotated in sort of lazily rotated fashion, making them look kind of... jagged. Especially their outlines are really strange. gsdhfsdhgdf...

Oh god, the slopes...
Speaking of, there's also quite a lot of weird cases that could possibly be accounted for the beam reacting to the block corners...
This one especially can complicate things quite a lot.

Re: What if Deflektor had some elements from Mindbender
Yeah, I was expecting it would be weird for you to work around with, but pretty cool to see me giving you encouragement to actually replicate new elements with their unique behaviors. And I guess if it was actually fun to make, then good to hear as well! I imagine you'd expand MM just as much as R'n...

Pretty much that, yeah. Just a possibility of that, in theory?

Re: What if Deflektor had some elements from Mindbender
I'm afraid that it is only an ordinary, fixed mirror (that works from both sides, as usual), but which would only be graphically modified to look like a solid block that was cut diagonally into half. No special mechanics here. :-) Well, I didn't mean replacing the original mirrors, of course, I jus...
