My reports that 4.2.0.3 was the last version to solve them were bogus. They were cached results from the previous version of the EMC Club levels. I thought I'd cleared away all old results to validly retest all the new levels, but -- on rechecking now -- I totally forgot to do that; all of my cached...

Are you saying this actually affects whether the level is solvable? Or only that some designers use that to make their levels harder? And, is it that it never moves perspective, or that there is some sort of delay? Do you have to move further into the wrapped-other-end of the level before it shifts;...

I have always experienced that the player does not get the first move, the game engine does. There are many things which could be displayed (at least, if it's technically possible with the skin controls), but might be overkill -- like timers for the 'see invisible' and 'shield' things, magic walls (in fact timers for these things would really be cheats...)
