Personally, i'm not keen on this idea unless it was a mode you could enable and disable. I personally like to just take my time and see if I can complete each individual level as an individual challenge, and I don't really care about score at all. one thing I would like to see though, is some indica...

Personally, I like a combination, ---- but in the majority of levels, i'd say it's not too easy to separate action from puzle cleanly. Even the likes of boulderdash have many timing exercises, such as precisely dropping rocks on top of enemies. Probably only a few sorts of levels can be said to be p...

Well, I can certainly see the point of the cheating question, sinse moves like grabbing a falling gem out of midair might be made far too easy on lower game speeds. Afterall, nobody ever said that R&d was an easy game and it is certainly a good thing wen you've finally managed to complete a leve...

Game speed control

Hi. I'm sorry if this has come up before, but I wondered if you'd considdered adding variable game speed to R&D. Having now tried. Having now tried a couple of games of this type (thanks to Martijn's site), it does seem that R&d plays rather quickly, particularly in situations like outrunnin...

RoX and other Boulderdash games

Hi. I hope people won't mind me discussing another boulderdash game on this forum. Obviously Rnd is the absolute diffinative game with the most levels etc, but having discovered this game genre, I want to look into things as widely as possible. I've tried several of the games listed on Martijn's won...

Thanks, I'll go and find it.

apart from the game itself, it's really nice to have a %99 authentic Amigar game without all the horrors of emulation to go through.

Authentic original emerald mine

Hello. I've just downloaded the emerald mine club levels, and I do rather like the original amigar graffics and such. I was wondering, is there a level set containing the original 101 emerald mine levels which uses them, as I'd really like to play the original game in all it's glory (I missed it fir...

thanks, that does actually make sense. Obviously starting with the tutorial levels meant that I saw all the different elements from the various games together in the same level set. Playing the classic games though, I have noticed a slight difference in emphasis as well. Supaplex seems to have sever...

Stylistic differences

Hello. I Discovered rNd last week, and am totally addicted to the game and the game style. having grown up with an amstrad cpc and an amigar, I'm slightly surprised I never came across Boulderdash or emerald mine, but obviously I was just unlucky, well at least I can make up for it now. looking at M...
