Re: question about changing the background

Yes, thank you Eizzoux very much! You're always a big help around here. Though, I'm still curious on one thing: is it possible to set specific backgrounds WHILE you're playing a stage? For example, Stage 001 has a specific background, and then Stage 002 has a different background, sort of like how y...

Observation: Is this a bug or not

Since I'm making a multiplayer levelset, I had to test all kinds of stuff that you can do with two players or more. In one of my levels, both players had to move at the same time to avoid the rocks falling on them. However, as I noticed, it only worked with the first player at the lead, because when...

New option to have elements behave like acid

Acid is an element that cannot properly be reproduced with Custom Elements, even though there are indeed workarounds, it is admittedly very bulky. I wonder, is there a way to make a Custom Element "behave like acid", so elements can automatically fall in and be absorbed in said Custom Elem...

Game Crash when too much fill

When using the fill tool on an area too big, like a 128x128 level, you get a very lovely game crash!
I found this out while making one of my levels and I didn't save it beforehand!
Lol!

Mashing the click

Not sure if this is a bug or just something, but when you mash the button on a title screen (say you click 5 times instead of 1 time on a single title card), the clicks actually register for as many future actions as buttons pressed. You can't register any other inputs until the clicks finished, exc...

EMC LEVELS: Normal Wall 8 graphics seem to be missing

In a levelset like RuppelMine 7, this is how the Normal Wall 8 (the one that looks like two red bars) graphics look like: Ruppelmine7.PNG Looks fine, right? Now what about a levelset like RuppelMine 4? Ruppelmine4.PNG While the rest of the graphics are normal, the Normal Wall 8 seems to weirdly be i...

Re: question about changing the background

And would you look at that, I actually managed to figure it out by myself. Haha, I should really think before I post a random request on the forum shouldn't I? For any of those wondering HOW to do it, you just put these configurations into the .conf file for the graphics: background.MAIN: something....

Re: question about changing the background

Uhh...

Think I got the Setup screen working on accident.
Wonder if I can do the same for the other screens.

question about changing the background

Yo, people, It is I, SlappyHappy2000! Back from a bit of a hiatus with a question. You know how BD2K3 had that cool thing that changed the background of the Title Screen? I was wondering if it was possible to do that with other screens like the Info Screen, the Setup Screen, and the Levelset Select ...

Animated GIFs as title cards.

Is it possible to have animated title cards using GIFs?
Whenever I use a GIF as a title card, it never animates, it always defaults to the first frame.

P.S. Thank you Eizzoux for help on the editor music. You're a legend. :)

Music in the level editor

I looked in the files for Snake Bite by Alan Bond (specifically, the music files), and I saw this: #--doesn't work background.EDITOR: treehouse.mod Honestly, I wished this worked, because working on a level for about an hour with no play-testing and no music tends to be really boring! Just wondering...

I know my opinion doesn't matter that much in the grand masses, but I really like this idea.

That's what I meant. 4.2.0.3.
Look, it's early in the morning, I'm tired! :(

1-Step Mode in 2-Player Game

On my Windows 10 PC, I wanted to use 1-step mode to more easily test levels in my multiplayer levelset. However, 1-step mode with more than one player is more like frame-by-frame mode. Oh, and only the first player is able to move, the other two players are immobile. And I am playing on the latest v...
