Re: Hard back buttons in Android
I disabled Extended Keyboard Helper and the problem went away. The utility never caused issues with any other apps so I never even considered its being the source. I will fool around with some of its options and see if I can eliminate the problem, otherwise I'll try remembering to switch back to the...

Re: Hard back buttons in Android
Ì haven't had any other problems with the keyboard's back button in other apps or games, including my own games. In RFO Basic, which I develop my games in, there is absolutely no difference between the keyboard and on-screen back button, but in some Linux ports, such as AndrOpen office, the keyboard...

Hard back buttons in Android
Running Android 6.0 on an RCA Viking Pro 10.1 I have found the following bug.
Using the on screen back button works as expected.
Pressing the back button on my keyboard immediately exits the game without requesting confirmation first.
Regards,
Michael

Simple recipe: make Rocks 'n Diamonds #1 game for Android
Note: I am using an Android 6.0 2-in-1 "laptop" with a removable keyboard (RCA Viking Pro 10.1) 1: Better touch controls The onscreen buttons are too big to use comfortably on tablet screens. Making them proportional to the screen size would be a good start. Adding small, medium, large, an...

Re: Custom folder for Android?
I would like to start by thanking you for your quick response and apologize for asking a question that has already been addressed on this forum. I did search for an answer but apparently not well enough. Perhaps I should have mentioned that I am using an RCA Viking Pro 10.1 Android laptop running An...

Custom folder for Android?
I downloaded thousands of levels yesterday but then ran into a little problem. I run the Android version, which lacks documenation, and althought it does have storage permission, I cannot find a R&D folder on my SDCard. Without root access, my file manager won't show R&D's internal directory...

Re: Android controls
I offer a belated thanks for your reply. My internet access is extremely limited at this time, so after checking the forum one day before you posted, I incorrectly assumed that I would receive none. Although the onscreen buttons aren't usable on my tablet because of their size(too big to reach them ...

Android controls
I was a big Rocks and Diamonds fan 12 or 15 years ago. I now use an Android 2-in-1 without a PC and have been playing another boulderdash clone once in awhile. When I learned about the Android version of Rocks and Diamonds yesturday it mae me very happy, but there's an issue with the controls. The o...
