Any idea on how to save?
So I wanted to make a story-type levelset for my friend, but I have no idea how to save items you find. Like, if in one level, the player gets a special optional item, how would the game know to start the next level with that item? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Any others?
Are there any other games made by Artsoft Entertainment besides r'n'd? Artsoft Entertainment sounds like it is the name of a company, and I was wondering if there were any new games or works-in-progress right now.

Writing Sequential Files
Well, I was thinking about r'n'd the other day, and I thought "Hey, what if I could find a way to save data in my levels!" Then I started to wonder how that would be possible. The only thing I could think of is if you could write to text files and then load from them. You are able t...

Mario-style gravity?
So, how would I make a different type of gravity, like the kind in the Mario games, where the player shoots up a few spaces, and goes down again? It'd also need to bounce up after landing on an enemy. Is that even possible? :?: I think it could be done, but I haven't the slightest idea how. :| If an...

Hello all!
Hi there, I just joined about a week ago, and this is my first post. I first got the game a few years ago, and thought it was pretty cool, and liked that you could make your own levels. When I found out about the custom elements, I got pretty excited. I am a r'n'd fan, and a Zelda fan, and when I sa...
