Re: Supaplex engine bugs
An interesting bug/feature with non-collectable infotron hanging in the air after some explosions (tape attached).

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
You can call it a bug, or a feature, or a mini-game of "Where's Murphy". ;-) http://s1.zrzut.pl/SAq9Sn6.png Since the screen scrolling is slower than Murphy, it is possible to hide behind the right-hand panel by dashing from left side of the level to the right. Exemplified here is level 10...

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
Damn it, ok, I won't report anything more. But right after finishing Supaplex in RnD (20 levels to go) I'll play the Amiga version and record the proper behaviour in all of the above cases.

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
Ok, this time it *must* be a real bug.
If I stand below an orange disk, and place a red disk, and move away - the orange disk falls through the red one. See attached tape for level 88 (near the end).

Re: Supaplex level - EPIC TRIP
Hope that helps! Thanks, that worked! The level seems really hard. :-) Somewhere in the future, R'n'D will hopefully support drag'n'drop of single level files into the R'n'D window to play it... Better yet, please add a central on-line repository of levels, with the possibility to browse and downlo...

Re: Supaplex level - EPIC TRIP
I downloaded the file, but how do I play it? I put it in a new dir under levels/ but it doesn't show up in the game.

Re: Explosion turns to red lights in specific conditions
I think we could as well treat it as a "local folklore" and leave it as it is.Holger wrote:Maybe not *that* important to fix, but I'll see what I can do about it...

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
Weird stuff. Is it possible that it worked differently in the Amiga version? I never played the DOS version, only the Amiga version and I'm pretty sure that killing electrons with orange disks only did not produce infotrons on the fields with disk explosion (with the exception of the central field w...

Forum login problem
The forum doesn't remember my login, I have to log in every time, even though I tick the box to keep me logged. The site doesn't seem to save any cookies in my browser, which might be the reason. Does anyone else have similar problem or is it just me?

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
About "saving a tape at any time": I totally forgot about the easiest way to instantly save a tape: Just press F1! (It will also ask if you want to overwrite the existing tape, if needed). Thanks, I forgot about it as well. ;-) And it's also because I didn't need that so far, as I decided...

Re: Supaplex engine bugs
Ok, now it's what I'm 100% sure is a bug. Infotron falling on top of the red disk makes it explode: Here's a screenshot from level 75. When I push this orange disk, Infotron falls on the red disk in the opening and it explodes: http://s1.zrzut.pl/NxO52TK.png What is more interesting is that it doesn...

Re: Explosion turns to red lights in specific conditions
I used to always compile the SDL version, but since on this computer I don't have the dev toolchain, I simply downloaded the archive and started the bundled executable, I didn't even check if it's SDL or X11. That would explain why I haven't noticed this behaviour ever before. I also couldn't be bot...

Explosion turns to red lights in specific conditions
Not really a bug, made me smile really: when playing Supaplex level 73, I paused the game during orange disk explosion, minimised the window, and when I got it back up, I noticed the explosion fields turned to red light blocks. :-) 100% reproducible in standard build of 3.3.1.2 (64bit). Also notice ...
