It's been a couple of years since I've had a look a RnD, or this forum - seems to have evolved considerably since then (nice work Holger!) I was wondering if the current version of the game is any closer to being able to emulate this game's features using RnD? There are a few fundamental differences...

There was a 3D version of boulderdash under development on the Amiga (a copy of it is posted on my website at http://amiga.emucamp.com/emerald/b/boulderdash3d.html ) However, I never really investigated it and don't know if it was ever finished - personally I think that 2D games should remain that w...

I assume you are seeking Windows versions? Diamond Caves isn't bad (not free though) Greenface is an ok Supaplex clone, except the GFX background makes things a bit hard to see (ain't free either) DX Boulderdash might also interest you (and it's free too!, although it does not seem to be under devel...

Holger, would you like me to send you some of these EMv6 levels? Also, would you like me to send you some EM level sets from EMC games that you don't have in the current EMC level set?

Also, does anyone have a copy of the Emerald Mine v6 editor that they would be willing to email me?

How does this new naming scheme look like? I think this is new to me... The levels are now in a folder called 'cave' as opposed to the old 'pla' directory. They are named XXS for single player levels (eg. level 1 is 00S; level 81 is 80S). Teamwork levels are XXT. EMv6 added a number of new elements...

To use this feature (which currently works for EM and SP levels), just create a new level directory (with an appropriate "levelinfo.conf") and throw your native EM levels into this directory. To make R'n'D recognize them as native EM levels, don't use the R'n'D style naming scheme (like &...

Emerald Mine level conversion

How does one convert levels for Amiga Emerald Mine to RnD. I have a whole heap of levels that can be converted, but the RnD converted EM levels are larger (seem to have some header info added.)

Map file format for Prospector in the Mazes of Xor

I have also some revisions to make to my original post (in the previous forum) on the map data. Repost with some alterations (multiple byte codes for each element) I have also come across some information on the Map file format of the original Xor (for the BBC Micro) at this Xor website . Direct lin...

you can't download that new xor verison on the homepage. Is it a boudlerdash game? Bad web design - you need to click on the fish (direct link: http://xor.ovine.net/downloads.php) and no, it's not really a boulderdash game. It is really a puzzle game (it does not have the arcade/action elements of ...

Prospector in the Mazes of Xor

[recap: suggestion to add Xor/ Prospector in the Mazes of Xor as a new game type to RnD] There is one remake (recently released) for the PC titled Xor which includes all of the 15 levels from the original Xor. It is also worth noting that the original Xor levels are the same as the 'Xor's mazes' lev...
