Re: In what engine RND is developed?
Rocks'n'diamonds as far as I understand is not based on any existing game engines (like godot, unity, etc.,) but built on top of sdl for cross platform multimedia capabilities. It is in a sense a meta engine for building boulderdash type of games and currently uses integrated native engines for play...

Re: Sidebar / Tape bar settings
I typed too soon. Actually my previous setting got rid of the game information panel above the bottom tape panel. Seems getting rid of the tape panel requires more work. Still going through your files. Will post my progress if I manage to get rid of the tape panel.

Re: Sidebar / Tape bar settings
Your file showed me the way to do it. Similar to your graphicsinfo.conf file, I too shoved the game panel elements out of sight by setting the game.panel.*.y to -1. Thanks a lot!! This also led on a side quest of finding all available settings for the conf files by going through source file conf_gfx...

Sidebar / Tape bar settings
I have two questions:
1. How do I change the sidebar from right side (default) to bottom (like in boulderdash level collection)?
2. Can I hide it entirely? If so, where is the setting for the same?

How to reset all settings?
When I opened the new emerald mine collection I recall the view being different. But now after I messed up with some graphics / game engine settings, the level uses r'n'd graphics set and has a thin toolbar on bottom which is not how I remember the leveset when I opened first time. How do I reset al...

Snapping not working in Supaplex Rocks'n' Diamonds 4.4.1.0
Advanced Christmas to everyone and congratulations on the release. I updated to the latest release today and resumed my Supaplex session. I noticed the snap key does not work anymore. Even after setting it to left control manually, it still does not work. Perhaps this is a bug. I noticed support for...

Solomon's key
I read in multiple places across the web that Rocks'n' Diamonds is a game with elements of multiple games. I'm curious about one game, solomon's key. Solomon's key is an arcade puzzle platformer for nes where main game mechanic is to create or destroy blocks. I have not seen any such puzzle platform...

Re: Invalid links in Editor Tutorial
Thanks for your quick response. It would be really helpful if you can find and post them. R'n'D Files Archive you linked really has some curious entries about custom elements usage and tricks (https://web.archive.org/web/20070401033054/http://www.zomis.net/rnd/info.php?c=3). Sad it is not available ...

Invalid links in Editor Tutorial
I was following the Custom Elements tutorial at https://www.artsoft.org/rocksndiamonds/manual/tutorial.html and find mention of two links at the end of the page about CE Walkaround Text file and CE Walkaround level set. But the links point to a non existent site zomis.net. Can anyone share the files...

Re: Confedit not working with latest Rocks'n'Diamonds anymore
Thanks for your quick and clear response. So sad that this tool is not supported anymore. I see some impressive stuff from the author in the "Levels and artwork" page. Why was this tool used for? Was this tool an external editor for R'n'D? Now Rocks'n'diamonds comes with its own editor. Fr...
