nesdori , is any of these formations close to the ones you found?
these are all existing formations moving together. :-)

almost similar and they turned out to compositions of smaller groups. quest for searching a big independent moving group continues :) maybe we should change direction for a while? the biggest group going down? or left, right or diagonally.

ok thx nesdori !

here's an updated overview of all (independent) dancing combinations that have been discovered until now. anything missing? :-)

(a) 2 ffly, left
(b) 2 bfly, up
(c) 3 Ffly, right
(d) 4 ffly, right
(E) 5 ffly, right
(f) 4 ffly, down-left
(g) 4 bfly, up-right
(h) 4 bfly, down-left
(i) 5 ffly, down
(j) 2 ffly/1 bfly, up
(k) 1 ffly/2 bfly, up
(l) 2 ffly/2 bfly, up

it seems that (a) and (b) are based on the same principle. same for (f) and (g).

(c), (d) and (e) follow the same mechanism, but are sort of acceleration levels. (c) moves slowest and (e) moves fastests.

finally, (J) and (k) seem to share a similar idea, where (l) combines both and therefore moves faster.

thx shredder ! indeed, the variant in your cave is (a) from my list, which turns into an upward moving variant along the border.

in this list, i will deliberately omit those dancing combinations which only work at the border. these are fun for a time, but i don't want to take them very seriously. moreover, i think these are unique to krissz ' engine, because this open border implementation differs from the c64.

you're right! :) but to me, these anomalies are good to use in new caves, which will show the possibilities of krissz engine :)
