more color experiments! :d

dirt and twall are complementary according to the hsv scheme.

dirt color: h=84deg (yello/brownish green), s=26%, v=30%
twall color: H=264deg (violet), s=74%, v=70%

brick wall color is a modest, light version of twall.

all in all the color scheme makes a rather modest impression on me.

btw, the cave is suitable for beginning players ;)

looks nice indeed!

i've also experimented a bit with hsv-complementary color pairs, and indeed, most of the times the color scheems look rather modest. except when both s and v are very high for one color, then that color is rather bold while the other is very dark/greyish. :-)

yeah, that seems to be the case. i'm also not sure if the concept of reversing the s and v percentages really exists. in the internet i could only find the concept that complementary colors are opposite on the hsv color wheel, but this could also apply to the rgb complements because if you calculate the hues of rgb complements, you always get a difference of 180 deg.
on wikipedia. the hsv color model is described as an "alternate representation of the rgb color model", not as an own independant one, which makes me assume that it really has no "own" complementary color pairs. :)
