to me it seems not. in all trials where i started moving up after i saw the boulder pushed, i was already too late... :-)

yeah, same here. i wonder how much reaction time there actually is.   
originally, i thought the reaction time was one frame, which is 222ms. the average human reaction time is 282ms, so there should be people who could solve this   
but meanwhile i'm not sure whether there's really a full frame between "boulder gets pushed" and "last chance to press up in time".

i tested it now with lower speed and i can do it with 3 frames/sec. a quick online test said my reaction time is a bit over 300ms, so it would make sense if the reaction time is actually a frame. i can't do it with 3.5 frames/Sec = 286ms/Frame, so now i actually think that the reaction time is very close to 1 frame.

i tried to do this with 3.5 fps and the success rate of a single push was about 1/20. so it's quite hard for me to get two successive reaction pushes; maybe possible with some zen practice :)

 nesdori , yes i can't do it with 3.5 speed either. which might be a bit surprising because 286 ms/frame and the average human reaction time is about the same. so either we both have below-average reaction time or there's actually a bit less than a full frame to react...
