no clue overhere yet... :-()

assuming that there is no hidden exit (which i wouldn't expect from nesdori ;), i'm quite sure that the ff is still needed to delay the | for the bb explosion, but the ff must somehow survive the explosion...

since there have been no more tries lately i'll give a hint:

there are basically two options:

1: use the right side | to hit the blfy in such way that the ffly survives and then hit the ffly with the left side |

2: hit the bfly directly with the left side |

the intended solution is #2 and i don't think #1 is possible. if anyone can do #1, i'll be very much interested to see the solution :)

btw.. i have one more idea for another remix which will be released after this :)

I did some tries In the CKIT. Few combinations with ff and BF blast at left Side, but without success :d i WANT to try one MORe after work. Very interesting idea.

shredder , you'll get it :) the sequence is beautiful; like a fly love story :D

i didn't except this puzzle to be this hard. it seems that this is another tricky "3 dynamic objects" puzzle (if you exclude one passive | and the right side decoy |:s) :)

nesdori , I'm starting to doubt, because I'm running out of ideas.
i've tried so many things... i can do the "dance", but everytime, the boulder drops instead of smash the bfly.

this puzzle was a very nice one for me to try out some retrograde analysis, i.e. i started with the final situation where the bf gets crushed and then worked backwards frame by frame.

and here's my result: we have to create the following situation:
.b..
t.tt
|^..
|..f

the dots represent empty space, while some of them can also be dirt. if ^ now moves right, everything will work magically and the b gets crushed in exactly 7 frames!

all that's left to do is to arrange this scenario :D

edit: the b currently faces right or down, ready to move down. the f faces left.

dustin , your ascii-art scenario is the intended solution! :)

thx guys :) and also sorry for spoiling the theoretical solution. it was such an enlightment when i realized that this actually works that i just had to share it immediately :D but in hindsight, i should have kept the solution on my paper in case anyone else still wants to try for himself!?!

ah cool! i tried a similar paperwork exercise going backward frame by frame, but overlooked something at the point where the bf is directly above the ff. :-)

hi Arno ! how are you? :)
i rather do trial and error method with experimenting in the ckit ;)

yeah i'm fine thank you! here the lockdown has been extended until february 9, but with me and my environment all is still ok :-)

yes both methods can be successful! :-)

i remember doing various of such paperwork approaches to find launch methods for dff's (cassiopeia, sinking-f6 and 6-elements).

but with this cave, At some point i concluded that the required setup were only possible if the bf and ff are on the same position in the previous frame, but that was a mistake... ;-)

sometimes paperwork can be really time-saving if there's some clear starting point! otherwise, trial-and-error might be the best one can do... i remember finding the swarm dff's exclusively by trial-and-erroring with big ff/bf masses. on the other hand, in a cave like this one, i think that paperwork might be faster because there is a clear starting point: the last 1-2 frames before the explosion can easily be reconstructed, so it's tempting to look deeper into the past frame by frame... ;)
