i've tested colliding the fright-formations on the same height, and i found a few other effects apart from this one.  
  
also i've tested fright-3 with fnf earlier, which gave glider-f5, as shown in a previous cave and  shredder 's remix.  
  
but i haven't done a full test of all possibilities. this is a lot of work, because you have to take into account:  
- all possible combinations of collidable dff pairs  
- all relative positions of both dffs to collide (in particular when a glider-f5/b5 is involved this gives a lot of positions)  
- all relative phases of both dffs  
i think the latter is most efficient to test if you keep the dff with most phases constant and vary the phases of the "simpler" dff.
