this time with complementary ΕΕΕ color. once again i find the complementary color pair blue/yellow very striking and interesting! :d  
  
the etymology of the color name "indigo" is boring compared to the previous "yellow", "green" and "blue" - it's named after a chemical substance with characteristic deep blue/violet color.  
  
indigo is a classic rainbow color as defined by isaac newton. as it has a very narrow wavelength area, indigo is today often just called blue and the seventh rainbow color is defined to be cyan instead.

re-iterating on spectrum hues, cyan lies between green and blue, with violet (the highest in the spectrum) being just past blue. the reason indigo exists is that the original observer of the spectrum did not like the fact he was presenting six notable colours; indigo was picked so he could present seven.
