Euclase is a Nesosilicate that is related to beryl. It is beryllium aluminum hydroxide. as a matter of fact, euclase is what happens when beryl decomposes within pegmatites.  
  
As such, it has a bluish-green to blue and pale blue colour. it is harder than beryl itself, but not as hard as topaz, with a mohs hardness of between 7.5 to 7.8.  
  
this 'mini' is based on an earlier dsm dash level.. do you know which one, though? ;)
