Here's my new cave which contains few ideas from older caves packed in one small 40x40 place ;).
I've finished this cave earlier, but after checking Arno 's "Two Flying Dutchmen", i decided to redo the first section and implement this great idea which makes this cave way harder.
Finaly, after many hours of testing, it's done...

Short story: Our old boy, The Rockford orbiting around the earth with his tiny rocket ship and observed strange anomaly - a firefly vortex! Rockford decide to check it out. When our hero approached to the fireflies, strange things start to happens... FF vortex behavior was different than this on Earth.
Rockford was shocked, because the vortex starts to pull the tiny ship into it! Nothing to do... just wait...

Fortunately, Rockford's tiny ship was immune to the fflies! instead of explode, fall into the vortex which works like a little black hole. There was some kind of space tunel - "wormhole".
Rockford's journey was long and demanding... Our hero was forced to use his master slalom skills to avoid the collision with many asteroids and planetoids...

But this is another story, let's focus on the things that happened after the end of the journey!
Rockford landed on the Mars surface, near the Olympus Mons, thousands years later!
Quickly realized that there is something strange! a cave! probably with valuable diamonds! Rockford decides to investigate this cave... not ordinary cave... it's a Remote Outpost - alien space base from the future :O

This structure seems to be abandoned. When our boy entered this strange base, realized that he's in big trouble...

Your quest is simple in theory: help Rockford to grab all super valuable diamonds and escape from this infernal place.

\\\

Cave difficulty: INSANE!

\\\

Enjoy!

GOOD LUCK! You'll need it! ;) \\\

is it correct that yesterday 60 diamonds were required and now 59?

i got the main plot of this cave, but i had trouble to get 17 diamonds from the butterflies. i always get 16, because 1 diamond is wasted with the second butterfly blast. i couldn't find a way to save that diamond; i even tried to hold a diamond from falling by blocking it with the second butterfly, but that did't work either...

anyway, now with 59 it doesn't seem a problem anymore... ;-)

i't sounds like that you've found a proper way to set the flies right for the launch :) this is the hardest part :)

okay, now i have my complete path ready, including all timings.

I have even been very very close to a solution, but... with this cave speed the smallest missteps are killing all my attempts... :-o

could you please reduce the cave speed to 7? and perhaps add some extra time to compensate?
t.i.a.! :-)

ofcourse Arno :) i'll do 7fps version with some extra time, but also save this one. because i want to do a demo soon :)

and congrats! you figured it out ( fly setup ) very quick and that is very impressive.

i did few runs with the diabolic exit, but for me the chase was the same... ofcourse for those who didn't know where is wtf exit, it could be huge problem, but i decided to keep this version :)
