a remix of cso 187 by dustin . if the original is too easy, this might be a little bit more challenging. kind of another surprise.. :)

ah, i was already wondering whether the cso cave also works without the light boulder. i didn't check it seriously because the intended solution was obvious and surely quickest as well :d

so many puzzles to solve now: this one, the bd2-m/1 all\ run and still the first 3-digit number in the "digit sum of n squared" series :d

Hmmm I can convert the boulder, but the \ gets blocked anyway :D

darkstoorm , sounds like you are very close; should be easy to fix :)

i also have another crazy remix in my mind; it will be exactly ten times as surprising as this :D

ok, that was an accident :D

darkstoorm , it's interesting to later see your solution. for me, it's harder to convert & block than just convert & go :) but there indeed are many different techniques to solve this. i'll publish remix2 for you to try but i'm not revealing my solution to this cave just yet if anyone else is trying.

nesdori : for now, all I can tell is that with my solution, the new cave is almost identical :) it's a bit hard to replicate, because it requires some movement... and timing I think :D

i am actually still trying! :d i'm just distracted by new cso cave ideas. today i created cso 205 in three versions :d

dustin , 205?! :O so you have already (almost) finished 18 new cso-caves?

nesdori , precisely :d most of the ideas come to me when i'm testing "innocent" caves for new dustin 's bds or playing other normal caves and something interesting happens by chance :d without playing such caves, i would probably already be out of ideas :d

dustin , definitely another surprise :) i know that you are creative but i didn't know you had such a creativity buffer. i have noticed that sometimes all nuances of published caves aren't anymore freshly in your head but i thought that those are just exceptions :)

nesdori , thx :) i, on the other hand, can safely make you a big compliment for your solution skills! i'm still surprised (to say the least) of how quickly you solved "the unbreakable code" (for example). in my opinion, solving foreign caves requires a much bigger spectrum of knowledge and skills than creating!

i think i'm more the "creator" type of boulder dasher - if i get an idea, no matter where the input comes from, i can sit there for hours trying to make the most out of it. and i'm very happy even if the result of one or two hours is "only" a 10x10 cso cave :) btw yesterday evening was another creative one and increased the cso series to 208 :d

i like to have caves in reserve, especially in the cso series which is kind of my "trademerk"! i like to publish them in sort of constant distances, and the fact that there's enough material in reserve for the next few months gives me room for new creativity :d

dustin , interesting thoughts.. :) "the unbreakable code" was solved in 11 hours after you published it and still you were surprised. actually, the effective time i spent solving it was 1-2h so if i had time to start cracking it right away, it would have been solved in 2h after the publication. i guess that would have been even bigger surprise :D

prior knowledge about the rng cycle and math involved helped a lot indeed. even before actually counting, i strongly suspected that both slime count and slime count-1 are divisible by either 13 or 73 although i didn't know about 364/365 pair yet. so i didn't spend any time marvelling what the cave is about but i knew what to look for. but i missed your simple method that for each timing, the offset of impermeable slimes just moves one step. if i had realized it, i would have solved the cave even more quickly :)

i'm curious; how long did you expect it to take someone to solve the code or did you even have high hopes about truly unbreakable code (until you reveal the solution)?-)

one of the simplest solution i can think of is now free. there are several ways to solve this and you can also dig multiple dirts and use the other column of falling |:s to support the first one. i'll later reveal the most efficient solution i can think of; it's the solution for remix 2 :)

ah ok, i was actually quite close! but how to decuple this... i'm sure this will surprise me a lot :d
