I'VE BEEN PLAYING WITH THE IDEA TO MAKE A  dustin 'S BOULDER DASH GAME WITH SUBTITLE "RAINBOW RUN", WHERE EACH CAVE IS COLOURED MONOCHROMATIC: CAVE A RED, THEN MOVING AROUND THE COLOUR WHEEL UNTIL THE LAST INT IS ALMOST RED AGAIN, AND THEN CAVE A ON THE NEXT LEVEL IS RED AGAIN, SO THAT THE CIRCLE IS CLOSED. HOWEVER, FOR SOME COLOURS I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THE RESULTING COLOUR SCHEMES. SO I FINALLY DROPPED THE IDEA, BUT I ALREADY HAD A LOT OF MONOCHROMATIC CAVES DESIGNED WHICH I LIKED, SO THIS IS ONE OF THEM! I THINK IT FITS WELL IN THIS ONE-LEVEL GAME, ALTHOUGH I ORIGINALLY DESIGNED IT FOR 5 LEVELS. I THINK IT IS A NICE EXTRA CHALLENGE TO GO FOR THE MAXIMUM (199Α) :D  
  
in original, the ΙΙΙ has a much darker colour, while the ΘΘΘ colour is only very slightly different.

I've entertained the idea of prismatics a while back, when I worked with the 6-bit series (00,55,AA,FF) I found some dark hues to be uneasy on the eyes, especially in the red zone. what I did discover, however, is that a simple rainbow consists of exactly six colours (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta), and to have a fluid transformation, it involves a multiple of six (12, 18, 24). The minimum amount of steps to create such a fluid transformation, however, is actually not 6. it is 12. :)
