in my previous cave you had to create various stacks. this time you start with stacks, and you need to deconstruct them. in 6 levels of puzzle fun! ;-D

i deliberately do not require the max of 84\ (although this is possible and tested). this way you could still store your run when you solved just part of the levels.
but of course, all 84\ is the real challenge...! :-)

Didn't get all of them, but another great cave for some paperwork :D :D

my first thought was already "huh? an Arno puzzle with 6 solutions after one day?!" :d :d

yee-hah! :d

great new idea for ||| ΟΟΟ ΠΠΠ ΑΑΑ puzzle! it was more trial-and-error for me than paperwork this time, and great fun again :d

thanks dustin ! :-D I have recorded my intended 84Α solution. i'd like to reveal it tomorrow, unless someone is still puzzling by then.

dustin , i guess your solution is a bit simpler, given that you had so much time left in your last runs. :-)

by the way, for this cave, i also have an idea for a "classic style" variant, with just Β and Α, and no Ο or Π.

Arno , i actually had a lot of fun speedrunning this. now i'm done although it's still far from darkstoorm -ish, but i'm satisfied :d

thanks for the great puzzle, it was a big pleasure! :)

and i'm curious to compare our solutions! :d

i'll take a look at this so we also have third solution opinion :) hopefully won't take too long so we can reveal our solutions later today anyway :D i already solved rooms 1-3 in my head, 4 looks interesting and 5 seems to rely strongly on logic because of bottom light | so i guess it doesn't take too much tries. there's no obvious starting point for 6 so i don't know about it yet.. :)

done! i guess there are many options to start room 6 but the ending should be similar.. :)

Thanks and congrat nesdori ! :-D

My solution is now revealed. In my run, all gwall-gates are used. However, when I watch back my run I already see a point where you can easily save one gate. Given the amount excess time in dustin and nesori’s runs, I would expect several more gates can be saved. But this was my feeling from the very start: it could become a challenging puzzle with potentially various different solutions and simplifications. :-)

my run free too! :d

the only rooms we have identically are 1 and 2! i'm not sure if i really have a quicker solution. most of the time difference is surely pure speedrunning :d

your run looks to me as if Κ is often counting the entrances, as if you have your solution written down as something like "enter via the 5th gap..." and so on :d i also made some paperwork, but then i had fun learning my solution by heart :d

i also used all gates. although i had a few meditation breaks and bumps i knew that if dustin did his run 9 secs faster he must have a better path and indeed he did saving two gates in room 6! :O :)

Thanks nesdori and dustin . Great runs! :-D

Good to know there are no real big shortcuts. ;-) Except for the 2 gates saved by dustin in room 6, it seems that all gates need to be used most of the times. I had indeed written down my solution on paper, in pseudo code, so I looked at it during my run, and also counted the gate number sometimes. That's why my run is not optimized timewise. Chapeau that you both took the effort to do your run with a minimum of delays! :-D
And yes, meditation is great for the mind, even if it is just for 1 frame...! ;-)
