dustin , it is trickier indeed, yet still quite doable i think. :-)

as part of the design, i have tried out various |\-configurations, some are more tricky than others, but the set of methods and tricks to solve them is basically the same.

my motivation for these 5 choices of patterns are as follows, from right to left:

room 1 & 2: a mirrorred pair where also the solution can be "mirrored".

room 3: since || and \\ are equally distributed, a chessboard pattern just had to be in there. and i found this room quite tricky as well.

room 4: nice symmetrical pattern in which my solution has some small variations on the previous room.

room 5: the exact opposite of what would theoretically be the most easy room! ;-D

great puzzle fun! :d

so mirrored pairs made it from dffs to puzzletopia :d my solution of room 1 and 2, however, is very different.

hardest to me was room 4, but my room 1 solution is trickier to reproduce because it requires proper timing.

room 5, although it's the mirrored pair of the easiest possible room, was by far not the hardest possible room to me :d

as great fun as expected! :)

for me rooms 5, 1 and 2 were the easiest and 3 and 4 were a bit more trickier.

thanks for playing guys! :-D

my solution is free; for me rooms 3 and 4 were also trickier than the others. :-)

interesting runs!

Arno , now i see what you meant by mirroring the solutions for rooms 1 and 2. cool! :d

i think nesdori 's and my solution for room 3 is way simpler than Arno 's ;) so if we take the average of our solutions/comments, it seems fair to say that 4 is the hardest room :)
