thanx! :-)

this is a typical cave where my intension is to build puzzle with reasonable complexity, but hard to predict how it works out in practice. too much possibilities might result in shortcuts, while too much closed directions makes the intended path too obvious...

i'm curious how quickly you guys will find a solution and if my intended path is the only one possible...! ;-D

Arno , i have had time to just take quick look but after a few tries this feels surprisingly (and amazingly) difficult :) don't reveal the solution yet, i'll take a deeper look later :)

most difficult to me is the fact that i don't have an approach for paperwork! ;d

A true masterpiece. I don't know if I will ever be able to solve it, but I will be happy for those who can.
Open borders are never easy to manage. The only thing I did was to clone the cave and with Shift up bring everything up to better see the path.

thx! ;-)

about the "paperwork" approach: i think i would try to number various locations in the cave, where higher number means i have to visit this spot earlier. :-)

ok i got it! :)

i have some hints in mind that give some directions that how to approach this puzzle. here's the first one: at least for me it was very helpful to analyze the route which rockford has to take to reach the exit. this reveals the starting sequence which is critical because there are so many paths to start with (and i think only one is solvable). i dropped all heavy boulder gates but i didn't use two of the growing wall gates. so i guess my solution is very close to the intended but i did some tiny local shortcut (or the extra gates are intentional, in fact they make the puzzle harder because they confused me a bit :)

this is a great puzzle. not too easy but not impossible. great brain and handcraftmanship by Arno again. i wonder where you get all these great ideas.. :)

congrat nesdori ! :-D

interesting that you leave two g-wall gates open. my solution needs all of them...! ;-)

well, this cave was inspired by similar creations from the past, like your 'garden maze'! and with heavy boulders you could create such nice gate switches between floors.

for me, a relaxing walk in the park is a perfect generator for cave ideas! sometimes new ideas have come to my mind even faster than i had time to work them out in a cave. for instance, i remember i already worked on this cave around christmas 2018... so the project has been suspended for quite some time, but now i got inspiration to finish it! ;-D

nesdori , i'm curious whether your run differs much from the intended path! ;-D

Arno , mine also free. almost same; the only difference is the part where i didn't use two of the gates. you could have skipped them also and save some time :)

aah, indeed a little local shortcut, but i'm happy that that's all! ;-D

that's a fantastic cave! i admit i was a bit too lazy to do the paperwork this time, but it's really amazing to see how everything works out perfectly while the space is also used quite well!
