i didn't fully check this with a program but it looks like that you aren't filling 20*40 cave space but 20*38 so that there aren't any random objects placed under the side borders :)

Yep, I got the same results when filling only the middle (the row from 1 to 38

darkstoorm , i expected "ha!" instead of "yep" like in "guess what?" 1-2 :D

 darkstoorm , :D :P

i have some more ideas for "guess what?" caves using this same cave and seed but maybe Arno comes up with another ideas as well or otherwise i have to do my own "guess what?" series :)

ha! the diamond in the upper-left corner is quite telling; it would be there with every random wseed if you filled the cave that way ;d

yes indeed, this map was generated with efficient rng usage, skipping the steelwall-filled borders.

of course, there are many hints to this direction. i personally like the 3 diamonds near the bottom, lying in a diagonal row, which is normally a vertical row! ;-)

nesdori : feel free to add caves to the series! i'm out of ideas for now. :-D

Arno , i have confidence that you'll get more ideas later :) i'm wondering about the naming convention. should i start my own series starting from "guess what? 1" or use #4. if someone else gets an inspiration to do the same then there would be multiple "guess what? 1":s. another option is to reserve the next running number by calling "guys! i'm going to do guess what? X" beforehand. what do you think?

interesting question! i like to idea to create a cave series together. i'd suggest to include "guess what" in the cave name so that the full series is easy to find via the database search. in case that 2 caves with the same number appear, then so be it, i won't mind. we could still distinguish them by refering to them like "no. 4 nesdori " and "no. 4 Arno ", for instance! :-)
