dustin , this is the cave with the "opposite idea"! :-)

i see! i've made a whole list about all possible locations and timings to throw a boulder into the DFs and what happens after each possibility. now i just have to find it again ;d i remember it was possible to create crawling-f4, fright-3, fright-4 and fnf. surely helpful in this cave ;d

yes, i did exactly the same! there are 35 possibilities to drop one boulder as there are 5 columns and 7 phases. indeed i found the formations that you mention too.
I also found one possibility to drop the boulder through it without affecting the formation, which was quite useful in your cave! :-)

in my solution, 3 of the formations that you mention need to be created.

but this cave probably has more than one solution... ;-)

do you have proof that it's your own list? police is already informed! ;d ;d

found the list! hmmm... but even with it, i don't find it at all easy to figure out what i want...

especially with the lower right diamond i have massive problems. no fright-, crawling or fnf formation is close to reach it. perhaps the list alone isn't enough and i have to combine some formations to a sinking formation as well? uuuuh... ;d

uuh that would be insane to create a sinking-f5 out of this mess of fflies...

luckily, this cave is not so hard core... i've given a hint this morning, in a comment on one of your recent caves! ;-)

you mean the going-down-with-a-boulder-trick? yeah, i have this one on my list too. column 2, one specific phase. one ffly goes down with the boulder and in addition, you get a cr-f4. but firstly, if i do this with the right dfs, the ffly goes all the way down to the cave border and still cannot help me blasting the lower-right wall, and secondly, if i do the same with the left dfs, i can get the lower-left diamond but the additional cr-f4 misses the wall around the upper-left diamond and is therefore useless...

ok, now at least i found a theoretical way to do it... right side - create cr-f4 in column 5 to get the middle d. there's one looping ffly remaining, force it down with the second boulder to get lower-right d. left dfs - get fright-3 plus fnf in column 1. fnf gives you upper-left d, fright-3 gives you upper-right d. use another looping ffly to get lower-left d. ok, i'm satisfied with it. for praxis, i miss the timings too often ;d

right side: yes, this is exactly what i did! :-)

left side: i create fright-4 + fnf and airdrop a left-over fly. but possibly your way with fright-3 + fnf works as well.

demo tonight! :-)
