This gemstone was rejected because of the claustrophobic presentation and the fact it couldn't be conveyed with ega colours (instead it uses the "websafe" 216-colour palette).  
  
bixbite, more commonly known as red beryl or red emerald, is an extremely rare variety of beryl. It is also one of the rarest minerals on earth. the red colour is due to maganese ions embedded in the beryl crystal. the original name of bixbite is named after Maynard Bixby. however, it was depreciated due to the possibile confusion of "bixbyite", which is a different mineral.
