Quickstart guide to "The Way to Bree"

You can move through the adventure with one- or two-word commands.

Directions are abbreviated with one or two letters (e.g. "N" for north
or "SE" for southeast; up and down are "U" and "D").

Special commands:

LIST		shows the items you are carrying
COMMANDS	lists the vocabulary of the game

Other commands, which usually have to be followed by an object or item:

TAKE, DROP, LOOK, QUIT, OPEN, KILL, ASK, WEAR, GIVE, ENTER, EXAMINE,
SMASH, READ, PAUSE.
