I don't understand what the Reachable Despite Gravity CE option does.

The sand is one of the few objects that are normally reachable despite gravity. I don't know how to explain what's special about sand, but the tutorial levels on gravity are good.

With "Reachable despite gravity", it is possible to reach the sand:









Without that option, if you try to move up, you will keep falling down again, so you will never reach the sand.

Yep, it's a bit tricky of a concept.

This was first seen in Supaplex (with the "base", which is the same as "sand" in Emerald Mine -- that's why I also used this for sand, to have similar behaviour with a similar element).
