First of all, thanks for RnD, I'm totally addicted to it. The last announcement was a few months ago. How is development going? When do you expect a new update? Thanks in advance for your reply.

It's hard to say exactly when, since there is only one author and he has other projects as well.
But there WILL be a new update, I'm sure of it! I trust Holger! :)

Well, Holger has already stated that he is extremely busy at the moment so has very little spare time to spend working on R&D so dont expect and official update anytime soon

*edit* looks like zomis beat me to it :-p

But stay patient.. once the new version will have been released you will be so very surprised and fascinated and enthusiastic that you will become a bigger fan than you already were! :D

Thanks, Martijn. ;-)

But I must say that the very next release version will only surprise you because it will seem that nothing has changed -- before the release of 3.2.0 there will be an intermediate bugfix release 3.1.1. :-P

But indeed, 3.2.0 will then bring some nice new features with all the new Emerald Mine stuff. :-)

Well, please give us one hint...

Will the final v3.2.0 be released in these Summer Holidays? I hope so! :)

Not sure yet, there's still a lot of level editor stuff to do, to make all the new EM[C] elements configurable and also working in the R'n'D engine. But the intermediate version 3.1.1, codename "snake", will be released real soon now. Shortly after that release there will be an add-on that will surprise you. Shortly after that, there will be the new, updated contributions package that many people waited for so long (containing all the contributions of 2004 and 2005 so far). After that, I'll try to finish the new version 3.2.0, codename "yam", and all the great new EMC levels, but these last two steps might still take a bit longer than expected and may not be finished this summer...

But "yam" is clear: then we can finally take a bit of the 1000s of EM levels! YAM! :D
