No difference between EXIT and SAVE AND EXIT

Post by Francesco »

Not so sure if this issue has been already reported. While setting the program in the SETUP menu, all changes are being saved as soon as you leave the relative sub-menus, so that you can choose EXIT and all changes are *not* discarded. I guess it's not tied to 3.2.0, but I tried it only with this newer version.
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

This may be a misunderstanding. "Exit" does not mean "discard and exit", but "use and exit". So all settings are only active until you quit the game.

If you use "save and exit", they are stored in a config file and reloaded the next time you start the game.

Or did you mean something different and I missed something?

Oh! So these settings, exiting the SETUP with EXIT, are switched back to the old ones, when you restart RnD? Ok, but so it should be called something like "use only for this session"... well, doesn't matter, the important thing is that I know how does it work, for obvious reasons ;)
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

Maybe the settings should be called "APPLY" and "APPLY AND SAVE"
instead of "EXIT" and "SAVE AND EXIT" respectively.

And perhaps there should also be a "cancel" option...
