Got a cool idea that should be in R'n'D? Let's hear it!

Is it possible to do a function like the Rotation Wheel in Boulder Dash:Treasue Pleasure? (You turn the wheel, the map "wheels")

Well, "everything" is possible. ;-)

That "screen rotation" is indeed a nice feature which could also be added to R'n'D, but don't expect it in the near future. :-)

Yes, a nice feature it is...
Martijn: I think it's some "turn level 90 degrees" function.
Could be made in RNDTool, we'll see where it appears first :P

Hmmm, sounds to me like changing the direction of the gravity would be suffcent to achive the same effect though not optically ;)

The entire level is turned 90 degrees... during play. This of course makes everything fall a different direction than before.

oh, during play...there went the possibility to make it in RNDTool ;)
I just thought of it as a little map editor option. (Like shift level right and such...)

Just go here:

Boulder Dash® - Treasure Pleasure™
http://www.shockwave.com/sw/content/treasurepleasure

The new official Boulder Dash. Just click in PLAY GAME and in stage 6 or 7 it will show the Rotation Wheel function. I loved it, but I don't think CE can make it.

But I think it is easy to implement it, just don't add the turning animation (you will see what I mean).

I know that rotation. I have played Pleasure Treasure before... bad game for his price. Anyways... the CEs, that are there to get touched by the bottom for example, would change too, that should be discussed here too, before inserting that wildly.
