Old music

Post by Furyspark » Sat Jun 02, 2018 4:42 pm

I haven't played this game in a long time, so I'm very happy to see it's still getting updated.

One thing I'd like to know, though, is whatever happened to the old music? I downloaded the last 2.x release, and they were in there. alchemy.wav, network.wav, tyger.wav, etc.

I've added them to my local copy of the newest release, because they're really nostalgic to me. But why were they removed in the newer builds?

Hello Furyspark, welcome to the R'n'D forum! :-)

Yes, you're right, those classic WAV tracks create nostalgic feelings also for me! :-D

You can find some explanations why they were replaced by MOD tracks in this thread.

Fortunately, you can still add them from those older packages (which are still available), just as you did.

Thank you!

And I suppose I should've dug a little deeper than just the first 2 pages of my search :P

But that'll explain it, then. Quite unfortunate, but I guess you're right about being safe.
