Well, "everything" is possible. ;-)

That "screen rotation" is indeed a nice feature which could also be added to R'n'D, but don't expect it in the near future. :-)

Am I wrong or can the raw EM level files be loaded directly into RnD in 3.1.0? No, you're right! :-) To use this feature (which currently works for EM and SP levels), just create a new level directory (with an appropriate "levelinfo.conf") and throw your native EM levels into this directo...

Those things that are easy to fix (like the infotron sound) will be fixed soon, other (cosmetic)
changes will probably be fixed when the new SP engine will be added.

This is currently not possible, because there are not enough free bytes in the current level file structure, and I promised Zomis not to change the format in 3.1.0, so his RndTool won't break.

But this feature will be added in one of the next versions, when I extend the level file format.

Don't panic, I have not forgotten the contributed levels. They will be added as soon as I find
enough time to bundle them with the corresponding solution tapes.

Richard, please stay in English when posting outside the German forum section.

Others also want to discuss here, and it's not nice to linguistically lock them out.

I don't know either, therefore it's "on". ;-)

I've still got that crashing problem [...] If I understand it right (from your post in the last forum), the program does not crash, but is aborted with an error message. This is due to a network synchronization bug, caused by the current implementation of teleporting. In this case, the program stop...

The default setting is indeed ON.

It's only off for existing, old levels, due to compatibility reasons.

If you create a new level, you always get the latest and greatest element properties. ;-)

No, you're right.

(Although some level sets have solution tapes which can be inserted by typing ":insert-solution-tape"
or simply ":ist", when there's no tape loaded. In this case you have the "official" solution tape
_and_ your own recorded tape.)

You can simply build such a "trick element" using a CE:
- set it to diggable, can fall, slippery
- give it the same graphic as the normal rock

Yes, the "artsoft" was the initial administration account.
Now that the basics seem to be working, I prefer using a "normal" account name again. :)
