after viewing it, the bottom of the screen also has the textbox lines there until you clear it by bringing up the tape UI on the bottom (going in-game or back to the menu)

maybe it would be interesting to add an option that sets the timer value to its old, much shorter maximum (and converts your final score so it's the same as if you had played with the normal timer). i have noticed that in a lot of levels i finish with still 90-80% of the timer remaining

my score WAS 850 once it awarded me points for my remaining fuel, but then then the points for my missing heat were added and it became 947

Here's my lazy take on how they would maybe look like (to be honest, they look like elements more for DF than for MM) infobulbanim.gif maybe that could be the deflektor version and the mindbender version could be like the book on the level select screen of MM that shows you the story when it's clic...

curiously, even though the original page itself says it's a boulder dash clone, what you've described reminds me somewhat of the game kye : - extra lives that respawn you without resetting the level itself - levels all on one screen - discrete tile-based movement - fast game speed - no audio kye als...

These are really good levels; lots of unique ideas born from just the default elements in RnD, and some pretty good (though, often, way too difficult for me) puzzles in compact space and with few mechanics. (Gravedig, yes, but it's a shame no-one commented on this levelset.)

I don't think this is a bug, if the 8x8 tile "elements" are just an easier interface for placing the wall combination elements than having to manually scroll through a bunch of different elements to find the specific combination you want. The wall combinations could probably be given icons...
