Indeed they do! :-o Guess what type the hard drive was that failed for me a few weeks ago with bad sectors, causing loss of some valuable data and the need to search for many different, old backups to restore most of the R'n'D development data (yes,...

OK, it's July 5th now...

Hope all you Americans out there had a nice Independence Day! :-)

When I was in the US the last few days, I was surprised to see a booth selling fireworks at each and every street corner! (I was in Washington, not D.C., but around Seattle.)

:-)

Back from Redmond ...

Sorry for the silence last week -- my company sent me to Redmond (yes, to Microsoft), but told me so only very few days ago. I expected to be able to use the forum also from the USA, but unfortunately, my laptop (yes, Windows based) refused to get an IP address from the hotel's WLAN DHCP server, so ...

Could you describe that in more detail? I'm not sure if I got it... :-o

Any others who also have encountered this?

Overall game speed is another thing here, and yes, it should have already been added, I think. It won't be in 3.2.0, b...

Another thing I just wanted to comment on: >> If they're not used, then why are they there? > dark corners after 10 years of development (or may be for the future?) Yeah, absolutely! There are quite some more of such "dark corners" which I already wanted to clean up long ago (like a few le...

Well, most problems that I (hopefully) have solved with these new micro chunks now (like flexibility and extensibility) would be commonly solved using XML files these days. It's just that I still couldn't stand using XML files for R'n'D levels! :-o ;-) Especially the BODY chunk (and other raw data c...
