Re: Level Editor: Mirror/rotate a selection
Thank you for taking this over! Since you took over the code directly, I guess I can close the PR on github? So I complemented the new feature with tiles/elements of the flipped/rotated brushes also being correctly flipped and rotated, and now the new feature really starts to be fun and be even more...

Re: Level Editor: Mirror/rotate a selection
Figuring this can't be too hard, I came up with a prototype implementation and took the liberty of creating a pull request on Github: https://github.com/ArtsoftEntertainment/rocksndiamonds/pull/8 There's still some graphical glitches, which I also described in the PR. Any hints of how to address the...

Level Editor: Mirror/rotate a selection
Hi all, here's an idea I had quite recently: Since I often create levels that are - at least in parts - symmetrical, it would be really cool, if the level editor would help me achieving this. Given the existing editing tools, I suppose the easiest way to implement this would be an extension to the &...

Pushing == Entering?
And another one. I was creating a pair of portals than can be entered from top or bottom respectively. They're also configured to be pushable, so I meant to be able to push them horizontally and entering vertically to teleport. Now here's the issue: after pushing such a portal from the side, the pla...

Re: Reference elements not working in CE explosion content
I'm not sure whether this is intentional or not, but it's certainly not what I expected  It's still not supported for the "can dig: [ ]" and "can [leave behind]: [ ]" element areas, but (same as with explosion content before) I am not sure if it can be that useful here. (I...

Re: Releasing "Niko's Bug Mine" - 180 levels
So all level names of your set should be correct in the web interface now. :) Thank you! This looks much better now :D Regarding the testing server: I'll keep that in mind and try it later. Since I've already started working on the set before, I'm using preliminary level set identifier and name whi...

Re: Releasing "Niko's Bug Mine" - 180 levels
It seems the API server was not well prepared for the re-ordering of the levels. The tapes are correct according to the final level order and I can replay them in R'n'D, but the names shown on the web interface are the "old" names, before the re-ordering: Bildschirmfoto 2023-04-13 um 16.56...

Re: Releasing "Niko's Bug Mine" - 180 levels
I'm on level 25 and I'm really enjoying it so far. I thought that 180 levels of just bugs would get a bit repetitive, but you've found such a variety of bug-related puzzles and ideas and ***spoiler alert*** even a 'bug gun', that I'm finding the levelset highly enjoyable. :D Thank you, I really lov...

Re: Reference elements not working in CE explosion content
Yes, I do know how the reference elements work. I use the +/-<number> reference elements a lot when I build groups of CEs that interact with each other (so that I can easily copy&paste them to other levels when I want to re-use them). As you can see in my demonstration level, they work perfectly...

Reference elements not working in CE explosion content
Hi Holger, yesterday I tried to use reference elements in the explosion content of an explodable CE and it does not appear to work. After the explosion, the space is empty. See attached example level, tested in 4.3.5.4 A: Explodable CE using reference elements for content - not working B: Explodable...

Re: Nameless Puzzle
Oh, I miss the puzzles. Time to dig out some old posts ;) This one is pretty hard, but very much solvable. And I think it doesn't depend on randomness. What it does take, however, is a lot of courage and good timing to run between falling rocks. If you want to take a look at my solution, here it is ...

Re: Rocks'n'Diamonds on Apple Silicon
I think it's best to post all that stuff here rather than sending and explaining in private messages, so others can see it, too, and questions are answered in public. Thank you, Holger! I've had a short look into the scripts and my first reaction is just: Wow! That's really sophisticated an...

Re: Mindbender Atari ST / PC
Hi Chris, welcome to the forum! Being here as a Rocks'n'Diamonds-player I had to google Mindbender first and was in for as big surprise when I saw its familiarity to the MirrorMagic and Rocks'n'Diamonds UIs :D Ask me anything =) Ok, here I go: As stated abvove, I am not too familiar with the game it...
