Re: setuseronfire --user=RebeccaSip

So, is there a 'new user's posts are invisible until vetted by an admin, until admin unsets that flag' flag in phpBB? And a 'limit to 2 unvetted posts per user' setting? OK, I've deeply checked this again, and did a lot of googling, and did even more testing (which you might have noticed, if you're...

Re: control windows touchpad

Now I try to play r'n'd on windows 8 mobile device. Oops! This answers all questions at once! :-o And this probably also explains why there are problems with virtual buttons, as there are some references to the Android platform regarding the virtual button code. (Although it should also work with o...

Re: Android controls

Hello Michael, welcome to the forum! The on-screen buttons were clearly made for a phone and are too big to reach comfortably on a tablet. Yeah, right... I already wanted to add an option for scaling (and probably also screen position) for the virtual buttons, and maybe also alternative arrangements...

Re: additional boulderdash levels?

I've attached the file your are looking for; it comes from an old (2012) dump of "www.bd-fans.com". Maybe I should set up a mirror site for it on artsoft.org... My latest dump is from 2015, which has quite some additions compared to the 2012 dump, but which also already has all those missing files f...

Re: control windows touchpad

Hello greyhead, welcome to the forum! Please give a description of the control windows touchpad. What do you mean by "control windows touchpad"? Virtual buttons are not visible. So you are playing the Android version of R'n'D and have activated the virtual buttons in the setup menu? Escape is not po...

Re: captcha earning

I can understand you are advertising this captcha No, SPAM will not be tolerated in this forum, and any user who posts SPAM will be deleted immediately, together with all of his/her posts. (Advertising your own new R'n'D level sets or any other related stuff is fine, of course. :-) ) Unfortunately,...

Re: setuseronfire --user=RebeccaSip

Such settings would be great (and would really be useful for cases like this SPAM user), but unfortunately I don't know of any of such settings for pbpBB3. :-( I was on vacation last week, so I could not delete this user and posts immediately. :-( Indeed, there really should be better SPAM protectio...

Re: More Envelopes or Custom Envelopes?

Back on topic "more envelopes", I've been pointed out that eight envelopes were needed instead of four to re-create Diamond Caves 3 style levels, so maybe I should at least increase the number of envelopes to eight...

Re: More Envelopes or Custom Envelopes?

We sort of lost contact. I've tried to reach him several times with no success; seems that all his old mail addresses are inactive now. :-(

I really hope he's well (even if he might not be interested in R'n'D anymore)...

Re: rnd old version

Hello Aurora, good to know that you already found by yourself what you were searching for! :-) For all others who might also look for older versions of R'n'D: They can always be found here: https://www.artsoft.org/RELEASES/ For example, to get older WIndows versions of R'n'D, look here: https://www....

Re: [4.0.1.0] Crumbled elements acts a bit weird in "Emerald Mine" engine

Maybe this is a limitation of the graphics engine when using the EM/EMC game engine; as far as I remember, crumbling works in both engines, but the "inner corners" stuff only works in the R'n'D engine (but I might be wrong here). Could you please post the relevant parts of your "graphicsinfo.conf" y...

Re: More Envelopes or Custom Envelopes?

when you need few hundreds of them What level scenario could one think of that would require hundreds of envelopes??? :-D Is there any possible ways to "add" more envelopes in the actual game? Maybe, by adding them in CE itselves on a new page? Hm, I can't think of any way to create additional enve...

Re: 4.0.1.0 bugs

This fixes it (part 7), and I promise it's wrong :) Thanks again for the patch! In fact, only the following part of the patch was required to fix the problem: diff --git a/src/game.c b/src/game.c index 8978e70..bc402ec 100644 --- a/src/game.c +++ b/src/game.c @@ -11226,9 +11226,9 @@ void GameAction...

Re: 4.0.1.0 bugs

FPS display actually works very nicely with the patch I posted. As I said, it's wrong, needs your touch to make it right, but it's basically what's needed. Yes, it looks OK, so I should just use it. I will also change it so that "--debug" does not automatically enable it. Using a "cheat mode" short...
