Thank you for not only reporting this bug, but also for making it perfectly easy to reproduce it using the tape and your very good description.
I was able to reproduce it on my system, and also to find the cause for this bug, which will hopefully be fixed very soon!

Re: Mirror Magic 3.0.0 is a bit broken :)
Good point! I'll have a look at that again!the music immediately starts playing upon playing the level, rather than playing after the amount of fuel has been fueled upon entering the level. The music loses it's impact if it started early.

Re: Mirror Magic 3.0.0 is a bit broken :)
Unfortunately, the Windows version of the game was packaged without this bugfix for whatever reason (seems that I have to check my build script), while the bug seems to be fixed for all other platforms. I will repackage the game this evening and add a "please re-download" note for Windows users (ag...

Re: Mirror Magic 3.0.0 released!
Important update for Windows users (2018-04-11): The original 3.0.0 game packages for Windows contain a wrong executable that does not contain a fix for a bug that occurs when playing levels of the set “Deflektor” using a joystick or the keyboard. The Windows packages have been fixed and can be dow...

Re: Mirror Magic 3.0.0 is a bit broken :)
1) Like in original game, we can now control cursor square to choose by D-pad buttons and hold the "Snap" button to rotate the mirrors (and Gregor McDuffin). But the problem is if you enter first level of Deflektor, the square is not aligned with game grid, and also if I press Snap button, it moves...

Re: congrats on MirrorMagic etc.
(1) I see these same announcements on the front page of www.artsoft.org. However, those have embedded images and live links to 'Now available on the download page!' etc. The forum software is entirely capable of these effects, so I am curious why the imports into the forum are just flat ASCII. Beca...

Mirror Magic 3.0.0 released!
After 15 long years (and a little bit too late for easter), there’s finally a new major release version of Mirror Magic available! There are not many new features and changes to the game itself, as the main goal of this release is to keep the game playable on modern systems, and there is finally als...

Rocks'n'Diamonds 4.1.0.0 released!
After more than one year of work, a new major release of Rocks’n’Diamonds is finally available! The most significant improvement is the integration of the Mirror Magic game engine. While the new game engine itself might not be the most awaited change, it is complemented by some additional functional...

Re: Another thing
I see!
Indeed thought something like that (although the post date is still shown as "31 Mar 2018" in my time zone)... just did not wait long enough (and thought there might be something else I might have missed).
Cool graphics and transparency effect, btw!

Re: Weird issue with game's window and in-game border rendering in windowed mode
Please help me, I'm a bit confused now, too! :-D When I launched my Sonic R'n'D animation test, I... was very surprised, because it actually draws RocksToons file instead of RocksBorder, and now I'm really confused how this even happens: I have just tested your "Sonic" level set ("tog_bg_test") with...

Re: "New Supaplex" gfx/mus/sfx
4. No snapping anims for Infotrons and Red disks, these ones just instantly disappears, Sorry, not sure what the heck I was talking about regarding this issue -- of course there are snapping animations for both infotrons and red disks (in both the R'n'D and the Supaplex game engines). But I can see...

Re: [DEMO] Cave Chaos 2 in R'n'D
Just checked it again, and no, unfortunately, it took the same very long time (at least for me and on my system) as before. But: As I found out, the reason for this odd behaviour is a bug in how R'n'D handles envelope timing, so it is not your fault! :-D The bug is triggered by the line "request.ste...

Re: I am looking for new levels ...
Ah, now I understand! :-D Well, as far as I know, there is no other level set from this author, unfortunately. But he might be happy to hear that you liked his level set! So, if Rüdiger Schäfer is reading this, and if he should have created more levels for R'n'D, maybe he likes to share them with yo...
